Sol Geller, age 94, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
A native of New York City, he was the son of Joseph Geller and Lena Flum. After graduating high school, Mr. Geller married his wife, Estelle Geller and they had two sons. Mr. Geller ventured off into owning his own dry cleaning business for over 20 years; he worked late hours but would always come home to eat lunch. It was tradition for Estelle to make his lunch and have it in the ice box waiting for him. Mr. Geller traveled across the county with his whole family by car and made it to Disney Land, which was the first and only time they went.
Preceded in death by his Parents, Sister- Beatrice Pomerantz and Brother-Sam Geller; survivors include his Wife, Sons, Lawrence Geller (Diane) of Marietta, GA and Bruce Jordan Geller (Diana) of Cold Spring, NY, Granddaughter, Julie Geller and Grandson, CJ Geller.
Services will be held at a later date in Cold Spring, NY.

Geraldine (Gerald) Taylor, age 73, of Savannah, passed away Sunday, March 22nd, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of Rufus Busby and Louise Bing Gray. Mrs. Taylor attended Tompkins High School and belonged to the Good Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was actively involved in organizations such as the NCO Wife Club and Eastern Stars in Alaska. In her free time, Mrs. Taylor loved to cook fruitcakes and shop in Beaufort.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter–Gerry Taylor, sister–Margie Dine Robinson, and brothers– Alfonzo Gray and John Henry Busby, she is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Brooks of Hardeeville, SC and Betty Taylor of Savannah; sons, Joe Taylor, Jr. (Marie) of Memphis, TN and Joseph Taylor (Pricilla) of Savannah; brothers, Tommy Gray (Debra) of Savannah, Rufus Busby, Jr. (Lillian) and J.C. Busby (Julia Ann); sisters, Rose Bryant (Daniel), Ruthie Mae Hill (Gilbert) and Rena Mae Busby; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at First Thankful Baptist Church, located at 2591 Steep Bottom Rd. Estill, SC. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 1:00 pm at First Thankful Baptist Church with burial to follow in Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm, located at 50 Good Hope Rd. Estill, SC 29918.
