Betty Findley Myrick Seymour, 83, of Richmond Hill died Sunday, January 24th, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Clyde, Georgia to Perry and Ollie Findley. She was a secretary for First United Pentecostal Church.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband: David L. Myrick, a bother: Elbert Findley and two sisters, Shirley Wilson and Wilda "Bill" Myrick.

Survivors include her husband: Dwyght L. Seymour, sons, David Allen Myrick (Bonnie), Richard E. Myrick, Ronald B. Myrick, all of Richmond Hill, her daughters, Barbara Diane Mallard, and Jackie Smith (Steven), both of Richmond Hill, two stepsons: Kevin Seymour of Kilgore, TX and Matthew Seymour of St. Helena Island, SC, 14 Grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two brothers: Ellington Findley of Richmond Hill and W.B. Findley of Pembroke, three sisters: Estelle Clark of Savannah, Kathryn Wilson of Midway and Miriam White of Hinesville

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm at First United Pentecostal Church. The funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 at 1:00 pm at First United Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West in Savannah, Georgia.

Jennie Marie Womble Thompson,62, of Savannah passed away Sunday, January 24th, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.

Born in Savannah, she was the daughter of James E. Womble, Sr. and Ann Marie Purvis Womble.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Thompson, daughters, Sarah Ann Thompson and Nicole Marie Thompson, grand-daughter, Paisley Marie Thompson, two brothers, Jim Womble and wife Mary and Kempie Womble and his wife Lisa, two sisters, JoAnn Smith husband Danny and Julie Friday husband Brian and a number of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1 pm to 2 pm at The Seed Church, 1950 Chatham Parkway. The funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Greenwich Cemetery.

Minna Louise Young of Savannah and Bermuda passed away on Thursday, January 21st, 2016.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen B. Lathan (Herman), Melvina M. Pearman (Kenneth) and Wenda G. Solomon (Alvin, aka ‘Mechanic Red’). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
