Larry Eugene Roberts, beloved husband and father, passed away on August 5, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was 76. Born and raised in Oklahoma before serving in the United States Air Force, he earned a bachelor’s degree and worked as a civil engineer. He is survived by his wife, Gliceria “Glecy” Cruz Roberts, four children, and five grandchildren. The family will memorialize him at a private gathering.

Diane Lucille Rowland Scarfo, age 71, of Pooler, died Monday, August 5, 2019, at Landmark Hospital.

Born in Savannah, she was the daughter of John and Lucille Paxton Rowland. She was a customer service representative for many years at Kmart and later Walmart. She enjoyed walking, spending time in the pool, enjoyed being with her grandchildren and loved watching cartoons and horror movies.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Scarfo, her son, Ricky Newman (Kim), her daughter, Lori Parkhurst (Ronald), her grandchildren, Lindy Bowers, Ryan Parkhurst, Malorie, Megan, Eden and Jamie Newman, her great-grandson, Landon Bowers, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held, Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 1 pm, at the Families First Funeral Care Chapel, 1328 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA 31405.
