Bobby Brannen Sr. was born June 11, 1953 in Savannah Georgia.

He was the eldest son of Martha Ann B. Roberts. Bobby attended Beach High School where he received his diploma. In addition, he attended Savannah Vocational Technical College where he received his degree in Radio and Television Technology. In the early 70’s, Bobby enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country with pride and dignity. He worked for the Board of Education and Great Dane Trailers for several years. Mr. Brannen was known for being the “Jack-of-All-Trades”.

Bobby married his wife Rosemary C. Brannen and together they had three sons, Bobby Brannen Jr., Terry Brannen, and Joseph Brannen.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary C. Brannen, grandmother Geneva M. Brannen, son Derrick Demery, grandson Brian Brannen, brother Timothy Roberts, stepfather Burney Roberts and nephew Terrell Wright.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories his sons Bobby Brannen Jr., Terry Brannen, Joseph Brannen, and Fernando Lewis; his daughter Andrea Williams; his siblings Daniel Brannen, Barbara A. Smith, and Retha Wright; eight grandchildren and two great grands. And a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Families First Funeral Care with Graveside Services to follow at 2:30 in Magnolia Memorial Park.

Leonard A. Jackson, 63, passed away on November 12, 2020 in his home in Savannah, GA.

Lenny was Born June 18, 1957 in North Providence and raised in North Smithfield. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert E. and Catherine A. (Swanton) Jackson, Sr.

He is survived by his two children Amy Steinberg and her husband Adam of Duluth, GA and Joseph Jackson of Woonsocket, RI. Two granddaughters, Catherine and Juliet. Four brothers, Albert (Sharon) Jackson, Jr. of Foster, RI, Kenneth (Susan) Jackson of Uxbridge, MA, Timothy Jackson of Millville, MA and Christopher (Wanda) Jackson of Harrisville, RI. Two sisters, Barbara Jackson and Mary Ellen (James) Rose of North Smithfield. Two aunts, Ellen (Swanton) Hajema of Hudson, MA and Carol (Cote) Swanton of North Smithfield. Ten nieces and nephews. His late nephew, Nicholas Jackson. Predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children, Marie Roy. His best friend Harley, a Blue Tailed Macaw.

Lenny moved to Savannah, GA with his family in the fall of 1989 relocating to Moncks Corner, SC before returning home for a short time in 2011. He moved back to GA in 2019. Lenny loved his family, Harley and gardening. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Judith Lynn Galbreath of Savannh, Ga. went to be with the Lord and her parents, Emory and Corean Galbreath, on November 14th, 2020. Judy, as she was known by family and friends, had been in poor health for some time and had recently contracted COVID 19.

Judy is survived by 2 brothers, Ronald Galbreath of Mauldin, SC and Rickey Galbreath of Fortson, Ga. She had 2 nephews, Carey and Mark Galbreath and one niece, Allison Scarbrough.
Judy was also blessed to have a very special friend in Judy Hawkins who was always available when she was needed. She was truly Judy’s angel.

Judy was born on September 27th 1947 in Savannah, Ga. and graduated from H.V. Jenkins High School in 1965 and spent her working life employed by Union Camp Corp. in payroll and accounting until the company was sold to International Paper in 1999. She then worked in payroll with Hospice Savannah until her retirement.

Judy’s wishes were that her remains be cremated and a private memorial held at a later time.

James Bert Gerepka (59yro) passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2020. Born on August 6, he was raised in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, along with his 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

He was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and learned his life-long trade in the HVAC field at the Vocational Technical School. In 1998, he moved his family to Durham, North Carolina where he worked for various HVAC companies. He loved German Shepherd dogs and had several over the years, leaving behind Bella and Pilka, his beloved shepherds.

He had two daughters, Sherri Lea and Alison Anna, both of whom he was very proud. In 2017, he moved to Savannah, Georgia with his fiance, Colleen White where he continued to work in his mastered trade of HVAC controls, work on and ride his Harley Davidsons, and play fetch with his GSD’s.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Sherri Gerepka (29yro) of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina and Alison Gerepka (27yro) of Chicago, Illinois, his sister Maryanne Taft and her husband Clifford Taft of Simsbury, Connecticut, his brother William (Bill) Gerepka and his wife Andrea Gerepka of Cranbury, New Jersey, brother Peter Gerepka of Hamilton, New Jersey, brother-in-law Karl Megules, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Gerepka and Alice Kaczmar Gerepka, and Sister Natalie Gerepka Megules.

Due to Covid, there will be no service or visitation, but there will be a memorial in 2021 to honor his memory, place and time to be determined.
