On Sunday, December 27, 2020, Susan MacDonald Ernst, widow of Ronald G. Ernst, deceased.

She was born April 12, 1945, in Cleveland Ohio to James and Gladys (Brown) MacDonald. Susan married Ronald Ernst on July 7, 1964. She treasured being a member of First Baptist of the Islands, Wilmington Island GA. Susan was an avid quilter, making many for battered women’s shelters in NC and GA as well as Ronald McDonald houses. Susan loved to play golf. In the past, she loved off road mud racing with her husband. She was known for her interest in engaging people she met in conversation, especially about God and inviting them to her beloved church. She had little but loved giving to others. She could be seen riding her scooter chair around Wilmington Island.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, James, and her mother, Gladys; and her beloved husband, Ron. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Bowen, and 2 nephews as well as cousins.

The Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist of the Islands in the Spring when conditions are safer for in person service. Donations are suggested to First Baptist Church of the Islands, 6613 Johnny Mercer Blvd., Savannah GA 31410 in her memory.

Maxsine H. Williford, 89, passed away peacefully at home Friday, January 15, 2021.

She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace R. Williford and son, Royce E. Williford. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Donnie F. and Gracie Williford and Rodney D. Williford; five grandchildren, Rusty Williford, Brandi Olenyik, Daniel “Scott” Williford, Kacey Williford and Mark Williford (Stephanie); and seven great-grandchildren, Kayden, Rex, Ava, Axel, Grayson, Keagan, and Ian.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Gardens, West.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 18th, 2021,11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in the Mausoleum. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 18th, 2021, 12:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens .

Shirley Ann Brantley Watson was born on January 9th, 1965 and passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby J. Brantley and her mother, Willien Rose Livingston Brantley.

Surviving are her two loving brothers, Bobby J. Brantley, Jr. and Mike Brantley (Collette); a loving husband, Barry Watson; four loving kids: a daughter, Jessica Juarez (Sergio), a son, Brandon Ohara (fiance, Marshai), son, Chris Casey (Sam), and son, Nick Casey (fiance, Diana Hendrix); fifteen grandkids and two great-grandkids.

She will be truly missed by many people.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Friday evening, January 15th at Families First Funeral Care.
