Howard R. Sears Sr., 75, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2023. He passed away peacefully in his home with his loving fiancée by his side.
Born on July 18, 1948, to Anna Magliochetti and William Sears in Bridgeport, CT, Howard grew up and worked in Newtown, CT. before relocating to Guyton, GA. with his father and fiancée, Michelle.
He retired from the United Rentals Equipment Co. as a heavy equipment operator and aerial lift mechanic after 30 years of service and dedication to the company.
Howard found pleasures in the simple things in life and enjoyed working in his barn with his father, his tractors, and riding his motorcycle with his fiancée.
He will be very missed by his fiancée, Michelle; his children, Terri, Howard Jr., and Jessica; his family, friends, and all those who knew and cherished him. His memory will live on, and he will be remembered as the soft-spoken, giant, gentle spirit that he was.
Howard will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
A private service will be held by his family.

Sara Ellen Sapp, 78, of Savannah, GA., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 11, 2023, with her loving family and friends by her side.
Born on October 6, 1944, to Ruby and James Neesmith in Port Wentworth, GA., Sara attended Groves High School in Garden City, GA., and later on obtained a bachelor’s degree from GSU in Statesboro, GA.
Amongst her many passions and interests, including books, puzzles, and women’s retreats, the Lord took precedence over everything, as she was a member of her church for 61 years.
Preceded in death by her mother and father; Ruby and James Neesmith, and husband; Mr. Perry Sapp.
Sara is survived by her sons, Jimmy Garland and Michael Sapp (Lindsay) of Savannah, GA; and daughter, Michelle Jones (Bill) of Santa Ysabel, CA.; grandchildren, Hannah Marlow, of Port Wentworth, GA., Haylie Myers, and Haydin Myers; brother, Clifford Neesmith, as well as a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Bloomingdale Alliance Church, 501 W US HWY 80, Bloomingdale, GA., 31302, at 09:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service, starting at 10:30 a.m., and conclude with her burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
