Mildred Monroe, 84, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Sunday, June 16, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her father Curtis Gay, her mother Inez Boyles and her son Mike Monroe.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Gwartney of Savannah, Gayla Reffner (Joey) of Pembroke. Her grandchildren Melody Futch (Robert) of Glennville, Darrell Monroe (Amanda) of Bloomingdale, Melissa Grizzard (Shane) of Savannah, Steven Monroe (Christina) of Ellabell, and Taylor Reffner of Pembroke. As well as 10 great-grandchildren.
There will be a private service and burial.

Condolences for the family of “Mildred Monroe”
She was a sweet lady . I will always remember her as my aunt Dee . She was the one who took me to the dr when I broke my arm when I was 4 and told me If I was good we could go get my mom from work once they put a cast on it . Susan , Gayla and the rest the family I am praying for peace for y’all at this time . I know she is in a wonderful place now , happy and healthy . I love y’all !
