Paul Hunt Wilson, 44 years old, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 22, 1980, to Pamela Wilson. He moved from New Jersey to Savannah Georgia at the tender age of 9 years old where he attended White Bluff Elementary and Tompkins. Paul was a man of simple means but boundless heart. Paul began his career as a painter by trade under the tutelage of his Uncle Henry
Walker, using his hands to bring color and life to the spaces around him. But his spirit was one of adventure, and he eventually found his true calling on the open road as a truck driver. Through determination and grit, he became an owner-operator and built his trucking company “Paul Hunt Transport”, taking pride in the work he did and the life he built for his family. No matter how many miles he traveled, home was always with his beloved wife, Monique, and their three cherished children, Paul Jr., Mekyah, and Chaise.
Beyond his work, Paul had a passion for the things that brought people together. He loved NASCAR racing, the thrill of football Sundays, and the joy of barbecuing for family and friends. His grill was always fired up, his laughter was always loud, and his heart was always open. Whether he was cheering on his favorite team, sharing stories over a plate of his famous barbecue, or offering a helping hand, Paul was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. To know him was to know true loyalty, humility, and selflessness. Though he may no longer walk beside us, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the kindness he showed will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He is preceded by his Mother Pamela Wilson and Grandmother Patricia Wilson
Paul is survived by his wife Monique Wilson; his children Paul Hunt Wilson Jr., Mekyah Wilson and Chaise Wilson; Mother-in-Law Dianne Curry; his siblings; Patricia Wilson-Dunham, Malcolm Wilson, William Wilson, Sundiata Wilson and Marion Roberts (Alexandria); aunts Gail Walker (Henry) and Frances Washington; a close Cousin and Confidante LaMeka Harris (Chris); His three godchildren Lakrista Harris, Madisyn and Brooke Wells; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am-11:00AM, followed by A Celebration of Life on March 24,2025 beginning at 11:00AM; at Willing Hearts Ministry Community Church 204 S Coastal Highway, Port Wentworth, Ga 31407.
Offer Condolence for the family of Paul Wilson

Bunky
His family happily called him that name. He was given that childhood neck name by my Grandmother, his Great grandmother.
Paul Hunt Wilson
A name I know he charished because he was given this name by his My mother his Grandmother.
At birth a person has no reputation, and so therefore his name is little more than a label.
Wise King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 7:1 “A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.”
Our (Bunky) Paul Hunt Wilson made a good name for himself. All who know and love him can say that with truism.
I smile every time I think of him, we had some really good times together. He was an absolute joy to be around.
Our God Almighty Jehovah in the heavens, has him tucked away in his memory.
John 5:28, 29 says…
”Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”
For all of us who have lost loved ones we await for the time when
1 Corinthians 15:28 will come
“And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”
Love your family
We love you so very much Bunky❣️❣️❣️❣️

As we send our condolences with a heavy heart, 🙏
Paul Hunt Wilson, affectionately called “Bunky”. by the family. As he grew into manhood, he was a mild mannered family man and business man who worked hard and loved his family. God blessed him with a beautiful wife & children.
With heartfelt sympathy, we are truly going to miss our Bunky. His family loves him and Almighty God loves him too.
I once heard, that we are all spiritual beings housed in these earthly bodies, and we are merely angels passing through, and once the angel has completed their task on earth God calls them back home to be with Him.
We will miss his award winning smile. He may be gone from this side, but he will never be 4-gotten. The Almighty God is to wise to make a mistake. We must trust Him in All things and we will understand it better by and by.
“And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ” Philippines 4:7
We Love and miss you Bunky
With Much Love 💕 😘 💕

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
(16) For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First ,the believers who have died will rise from their graves. (17) Then, together with them,we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. (18) So encourage each other with these words.
Beloved family, I know hearts may feel heavy and broken. I know, I understand and I feel it too. Bunky has Always had a sweet, kind, humble , warm spirit and smile.
