Mr. Albert Lee Lockhart

Albert Lee Lockhart was born July 2, 1948 to the late Queen Esther Foye Lockhart and Harry Thomas Lockhart.
He attended Savannah Chatham County Public School and was baptized at an early age at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Savannah.
Albert Lee Lockhart was a Professional Floor Technician and Supervisor at Candler Hospital for 17 years; he was also a floor technician at Memorial Medical Center for 4 years. Before becoming a floor technician, he was an Aluminum Blind Builder for Southern Venetian Blind Company for 15 years. He later became a Security Guard for EM Security.
He married his elementary/high school sweetheart, Jeannette Gail Simmons, (after wooing her with Bird Cookies and money) on August 28, 1969, to this union was born; Michelle Lockhart and Albert Lamont Lockhart. They were married until the day of her death, July 30, 2014. They were married for 45 years.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, God called him home. He passed at Memorial Medical University at 11:18 a.m. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 45 years; Jeannette Gail Lockhart-Simmons, his mother, Queen Esther Foye Lockhart; his father, Harry Thomas Lockhart, Sr.; his brother, Joseph Lockhart; his mother-in-law, Alma Stuart Simmons; his father-in law, Joseph George Simmons, Sr.; and his sister-in law, Aretha Lockhart.
He leaves to revere his memory: His dedicated daughter; Michelle Lockhart-Miles; 2 sons, Albert Lamont Lockhart, and Gerald Allen Simmons, Sr.; 2 granddaughters; Janice Renee Lockhart and Cierra Chantelle Simmons 4 grandsons; Justin Omar Lockhart, Kenneth Jamal Lockhart, Gerald Allen Simmons, Jr.; and Joshua Alvin Lockhart. 9 Great-Grand Children; 1 brother, Harry Thomas Lockhart, Jr.; 2 sisters, Brenda J. Lockhart and Susan P. Patterson.
Brother-in-law; Joseph George Simmons. Jr.; 3 sisters in laws; Lenora A. Simmons, Jacqueline S. Bias, Sandra E. Simmons-Smith. a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
