She was definitely a person that loved and didn’t mind at all receiving love. I’m thankful for her being my Mom’s long time best friend (Mary Milton), a part of my life through youth, marriage hurdles and, vacations in Savannah . . . my birth place.
There’s surely a hurt in our hearts, knowing that there’s a season for all things. Love and blessing to her family and friends.

God bless the surviving members of Venia’s family, as I called her. I will miss her always because she was a sister that I never had. We grew up together from 7th grade on through life. It was a blessing to have a friend like her who would travel from GA to NC just to cook me my favorite meal this past Fall. I loved her dearly. Again I will miss her forever . . . so much. Words can’t express it. My love and heart goes out to her children and the rest of the family. I know you will miss her as much as I do or more. You have my deepest sympathy. Always, Mary Milton.

Alvinia was learning about Jehovah God, his son and the kingdom they will eventually bring to this earth to establish permanent peace. Isaiah 33:24 states that during this time, “no resident will say I’m sick”. Her friends and family can look forward to her resurrection and that promise from Jehovah and his son, Christ Jesus. Rest in peace, friend. We’ll meet again.
