Amber Jane Toomey, age 34, passed away on Thursday, July 25th, 2024 in Savannah, GA. She was born on March 29th, 1990 at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
Amber was a beloved daughter and friend. She worked as a Restaurant Manager at Applebee’s and was known for her dedication to her job and her kindness towards her colleagues and customers.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Son and Martha Cook; maternal great grandmother, Marian Penholster; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Toomey; paternal grandfather, William Toomey; and uncle, Danny Toomey.
Survivors include her mom, Kandy Toomey; dad, Patrick Toomey; stepmom, Mary Toomey; best friend and partner, Jake Tooley; aunts and uncles, Tony Adams (Tessie), Ricky Adams (Suzanne), Tom Adams (Sherry), Deb Frazer, Michael Toomey (Karen) and Judy Toomey; and numerous cousins.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of Amber will be held at Families First Funeral Care in Savannah on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Amber will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in her honor. Arrangements are being handled by Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center.
