Ms. Annette Phoenix-Wilson age 54, gained her wings on Friday, August 23, 2019. Annette was born April 14, 1965, to the late Isaac and Annie Phoenix and a brother Virgil (Bubba) Phoenix who preceded her in death.
Annette received her education in the public schools of Savannah, GA. Early in life, she worked as a wonderful caregiver helping others that needed help. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved spending time with her family. Annette also enjoyed spending time with her grandson who she extremely adored and eating those crabs. Annette was the life of the party when there were family fathers. She moved to Hinesville, GA where she lived at the time of her passing and worked at Jimmy Johns Subs. She was a kindhearted and funny person that everyone will miss. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Robert (Tony) Phoenix, Bernard (BJ) Wilson, one daughter Katura (Quandra) Wilson all of Savannah, Ga. She has one grandson, Charlie (CJ) Banks of Hinesville, GA. Also, two sisters, Melissa Phoenix-Dandridge (Keith) of Pooler, Ga, Alteria Phoenix-Gibbs (Ruben) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and one brother, Jimmy Lee Taylor. Also including her best friend Gina Grant and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will all miss her.
A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 11 am at Families First Funeral Care Chapel with Elder Clevon Wright officiating.
Interment will be private.
