Annie Mae Burt Williams

Missionary Annie Mae Williams was born September 9, 1927 to Mrs. Deotha Burt and Mr. Jerome Burt. She was raised in Jacksonville, GA and later moved to Savannah, GA; she was educated in Chatham County Public Schools. She later married Deacon Fred Lee Williams, Sr. on February 8, 1944.

Williams was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband, and ten children.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 6 children: Barbara Ann (Wayne) McRae, Daisy M. Williams, Feldon R. (Yvette) Williams, Dorothy R. (Warren) Godfrey all of Savannah, GA, Pastor Cynthia Madison of Atlanta, GA, and Shelva Deen Keely of Adel, GA. She also leaves to cherish her memories one nephew, two nieces, numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren.

Services for Missionary Annie Mae Williams will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 1601 Barnard St., Savannah, GA 31401. A Wake Service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Little Prayer Mission Church of God in Christ, 1335 Wheaton St., Savannah, GA 31401.

Arrangements are entrusted to Families First Care of Savannah, GA.

Grand-MoM
I will miss u so much the love u share with us and all them long talks we had together. I can write a book about u just so many memories with u I can go on and on. Going shopping to the stores and just sitting in the car to listen to your flavor songs. We had some good times together for a very long time. Calling u talking to u about any and everything. So glade to have a grand-MoM like u miss u everyday all day. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
