“Asuncion Livingston,” lovingly known as “Siony,” though to everyone who knew and loved her, she was simply “Mom.” A simple word that everyone understands, yet it represents the most important person in our lives. Her radiant smile touched everyone she met, earning her deep affection and admiration from family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she brightened.
She was our mom -our protector, and a deeply loving mother. She will always be remembered and deeply missed by many.
Asuncion was an incredibly strong and skilled woman. She worked as a mechanic in the aviation field and contributed to the space shuttle program, dedicating her talents to companies such as Lockheed, Boeing, Rockwell, and Gulfstream. Her work was a source of great pride, and people respected her for her expertise, commitment, and resilience, a truly remarkable woman.
Our mom carried so many broken hearts, mended them, and gently sent people on their way. There was nothing she would not do to ensure your safety, guide you through life and more importantly, take care of you.
Her kitchen was always open, you could always count on lumpia rolls, pancit and sweet rice being served-no one ever left hungry. She had a way of making everyone feel like they truly mattered. She had no boundaries when it came to helping others – she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly. Her
love for her family was immeasurable.
Asuncion “Siony” Livingston is survived by her beloved husband, Francisco Morales, her children, Kim Morgan and her husband Dave, Steven Hibbard and his wife Jamie, Melissa Lambert and her husband Dave, and Tabitha Hibbard; along with nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory.
We will miss you, Mom. We will miss you more than words can express. Now we know what it feels like to have half a heart.
