August Rose Pritchett, passionate artist and writer, passed away on August 1, 2023 at age 26.
She was born with a very rare physical disability that she battled with in her life and fought to the very end.
August had the most beautiful soul that touched everyone she met. She loved her books, painting,
sewing, writing and Chihuahuas. She was fascinated by history and graduated from Georgia Southern
University in 2018 with a BA in English Communication with minors in history and French.
August is an author of two novels and 24 published articles. The main character in her last novel is a
reflection of August through the character Ella.
She is survived by her Father Darrell Pritchett, Mother Kelly James, Stepfather Randall James, Brother
Eric Pritchett, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents.
Her bright soul will be missed and loved forever.
