Barbara Rose Barnes, age 72 of Pooler, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on October 4, 2021. She was a loving wife, loving mother and a great friend to many. She will be missed.
Barbara was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on February 4, 1949. She was married to her husband of 49 years, Weldon Eugene Barnes. They were married on July 13, 1972. They had two children together, Brad Elliott Barnes and Lisa Renee Barnes. They have one grandchild, Michael Garrett Barnes, whom Barbara loved very much.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Weldon Barnes, her two children Brad(Kimberly) and Lisa Barnes, her grandson Michael G. Barnes “MB”, her brother Reuben C. Bedwell Jr. “Buddy”(Gwen) Bedwell and her sister Diane(Carey) Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents Reuben C. Bedwell Sr. and Hilda Inez Bedwell, her brother Dorsey B. Bedwell and her grandparents.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00am which will be held at Radiant Life Church, 5619 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31406 on Friday, October,8th 2021.
