Betty Ruth Johns Baker, 72, of Savannah passed away Sunday, April 17th, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.

Born in Winokur, Georgia, she was the daughter of J.J. and Sarah Johns.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Baker.

Survivors include her sisters, Clara "Inez" Pike, MaryJean Austin, Janet Pearce, a brother-in-Law: Lloyd Kahlich, sister-in-Laws: Mandlee Johns and Willie Maude Johns, nieces and nephews, Janice (Les) Fussell, Lloyd (Katie) Pike, Earl (Debe) Austin, Roseann Austin, Charles (Lena) Johns, Joan (Donnie) Connor, J.B. Johns, Carolyn (E.C.) Crews, Myrajean (Steve) Glisson, Loren Johns (Dashia) and a number of other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 22nd, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Savannah or to Westside YMCA.
