Beverly was such an amazing artist and friend. I had the pleasure of being her neighbor in Georgetown Georgia. Ill never forget her. I have her beautiful prints of her paintings on my wall reminding me of her every day.

Condolence from TLM on March 19th, 2023 6:05 pm

I met Bev when I was housekeeping at an independent living facility in Savannah. I remember the day she wasn’t in the best mood and when she saw me she laughed at the medical mask I was wearing. Then when I told her my name she instantly lit up and said “My sister just taught me that phrase!” then she said she felt like it was a sign from God she was going to be okay. I would spend extra time in her room each week and chatting with her in the halls. When I left for college and she left for a new facility I would come by to see her and take her out to the mall or lunch when her body could bear it. We talked about everything you could think of but mostly we talked about God. She struggled and suffered alot because of her illnesses and as much as she prayed to God to welcome her home she would also thank Him for her life and pray she still had a purpose in it. Our brief friendship was a mercy to my soul and I thank God for letting me meet and spend time with her. Her prayers and friendship were a blessing to my spirit and kept me going during the rough times I was having. My prayer for her is she is receiving the peace, love, rest and acceptance she so desired in the Heavenly Father’s arms.
