Beverly Ann Thompson

Beverly Ann Williams Thompson was born on December 29, 1944, in Kingston, North Carolina to late Benny Williams and Blanche B Grady Rouse. She was received into eternal peace on January 14, 2022. Beverly Ann (Puddin) married Freddie L Thompson (Ricky) on November 25, 1965. Ricky and Puddin have five children.

 

Beverly Ann is survived by one son: Tyrone Thompson; four daughters, LaRon Thompson Gordon, Nikki Thompson Robinson, Sharma Thompson Pinkney, Tawanna J Seals (Gregory). Twenty Grandchildren: Toni, Beverly, Marcus, Marc, Kevin, Ardinia, Micole, Ashley, Thaddeus, Tyler, Juan III (Trey), Nikka, Christian, Juwel, Nicholas, Cory, Carmen, Collin and Nineteen Great Grandchildren. Beverly Ann was preceded in death by two grandchildren Javis and Theodore.

 

She was the oldest of six children: Linda, Nadeane, Lonnietta, Germaine, and Lonnie Jr. Although she lived and retired in Savannah, Georgia. She cherished her summer trips with The Jazzy Ladies (her sisters). Beverly Ann would often visit or host cousins, nieces, nephews and friends from all parts of the U.S.

 

Beverly Ann enjoyed being a military spouse and traveling around the world. She worked in school food service where she did more than just feed the students at her school, she mentored them. Everyone was welcome in her home, and she never met a stranger.

 

Beverly Ann loved butterflies, the beach, wine, and dancing on the tables. She left the gift of Love to her husband, children, family, and many that she claimed as family.

In the words of Maya Angelou “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We all felt her love. She will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Families First Funeral Care with Funeral Services to be held at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, West.

I only had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Beverly a couple of times but I have the honor of working with her wonderful daughter and therefore have heard so many beautiful stories and know how much of an amazing women she was. She touched so many lives and filled so many hearts with love and will truly be missed, however her kindness and love will live on forever through her family and everyone who had the privilege to know her. To the entire family you are in my thoughts!
