Bobbie Jean Conyers (Butler)passed away peacefully on Saturday April 27, 2024 in
Savannah, Ga at the age of 63. She was born on March 13, 1961 in Millen Georgia, the
beloved daughter of Ned and Mary Butler. Bobbie Jean, as she was affectionately known
to her close friends and family, spent the majority of her teen and adult years in
Savannah, Georgia. She eventually made her home in Rincon, GA to be near her daughter.
Bobbie Jean was known for her big laugh, sharp tongue and home cooked meals. She
loved reading, writing and working on crafts. Throughout life she used her passion for
learning to become a licensed painter and a certified nursing assistant.
Family and friends will remember Bobbie Jeans’ love for cooking and her tidy home. Her
favorite things were to share a meal with her family and to fill up her shopping cart at
Walmart or Dollar Tree. Ms. Bobbie liked meeting people, she could strike up a
conversation with anyone. She shared her love for her family and her lessons learned in
life freely. It was her desire to prevent others from going down the darker roads of life.
Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her beloved mother Mary Butler and her son
Bernard Conyers. Her memory and legacy will be kept alive by her daughter Ivory Brown
(Mike), daughter Precious Conyers, grand daughter’s Heaven and Jessica Conyers, her
brother Ned Butler Jr., her father Ned Butler Sr. and a host of family and friends.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who
loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things
to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate
us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.-Romans 8:35, 37-38
