I miss the man, he was one of few good ones. Not a day goes that I don’t think of him. I wish all the boys turned out better with the effort Charlie put forth.

You were my stepfather for 10 years or more. I always thought the world of you, Amanda, Robert, and Andy. I wish I had known sooner and reached out more often. For that, I am truly sorry. You will always have a lasting spot in my heart and in my memories for the remainder of my life.

My apologies. I meant to put Charles G. Perry, Jr. and I do not see an edit option.

Charlie came into my life when I was 12 years old. My mother “Barbara” had not long divorced my father and started seeing Charlie. He was not only good to her, but was good to each one of us three boys as well. It took me a long time to come around to him and to see him as a man trying to be a husband and father to us and not just some guy trying to replace my dad. He gave us everything he could and more. For that I’ll always be greatful. It saddens me to learn of his passing and to find out three years after the fact. I only wish I would have stayed in closer contact with him, Amanda, Robert, Andy, and the rest of the family.
I truly give my deepest condolences to the entire family, and I’ll always keep my step dad Charlie’s memories close to my heart!
