Charles Holmes Arte Yates Jr., 76, husband of Margaret “Bit” Yates, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 at Memorial Medical University.
The native of Goose Creek, South Carolina lived in Savannah most of his life. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a roofer and custodian for the church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed getting outside to mow his lawn. In his early years, he enjoyed the outdoors rather it be hunting or fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Bit” Yates, two daughters Shannon Megginson (Stephen), Paigdra Von Herbulis (Justin), and two sons; Teton Yates and Flash Yates (Julie). Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
