Craig Louis Dorse, 63, of Savannah died Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 at his residence, under the outstanding care of Compassionate Care Hospice and the VA Doctors and staff.
Born in Tampa, Florida. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, and was in Retail Sales for Sit and Sleep Mattress.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lorene Dorse, James and Jeanne McKay, his sisters, Pamela Pablo, Pat Bragg and brother Bud Drawdy.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Kenny Jackson, four nieces, Jamie Lane, Melissa Ford, Lacie Day, Stephanie Ward, several great nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog Molly.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1st, 2016, from 4 pm to 7 pm, with a brief service at 5 pm, at 315 McAlpin Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contribution to Compassionate Care Hospice.

Sure will miss our talks and laughs. Craig is truly one of a kind. To bad that there are not a Lot more people like him. I sometimes was in awe of how he could always be so positive when the world around him seemed to be falling apart. I never really knew him until the last few years and so glad I did get to. A little jealous that he got to heaven before me.
