Cynthia “Cindy” Millovich

Posted By Kyle Nikola On January 6, 2022 @ 2:37 pm In Obituaries | 6 Comments

Cynthia “Cindy” Millovich was born on December 9, 1953 to the late, George Millovich and Dorothy Yeagley in Dauphin, Pennsylvania. Cynthia was educated in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She continued her education and became a cosmetologist in the early 1970’s. She was married and widowed by Jose Angelo Miranda.
During her life span, Cynthia had worked several jobs from cosmetologists, as a builder for Great Dane, as a customer service specialist, provided cleaning services, worked as a floor installer, and a painter—all tasks she loved since working with her hands was something she enjoyed. She adored all her family and preferred to spend her free time with them. She enjoyed cooking and baking, reading, listening to music, and watching horror movies. Cindy never met a stranger—she was always a people person who served in whatever humanitarian ways she could. All the neighborhood children gravitated to her welcoming and loving home. She loved them all. Her grandchildren were the apples in her eye. She had a big heart for animals, taking in strays and loving them. She was a thriftier and bargain hunter.
Cynthia passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Dorothy; her father, George; her sister, Sandy, and her brother George.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her loving life partner of more than 15 years, William “Billy” Logue, Millen, Ga., her son Michael Miranda, Manchester, PA; daughter, Elba “Kellie” Brisard, Warner Robins, GA; daughter Dorothy “D.J/DeDe” Conner Dublin, GA; daughter Misty Skipper, Savannah, GA; and her daughter Nicole Miranda Strickland, Savannah, GA; her nine grandchildren; Amber Brisard (f); Kasey Livingston (f); Alyssa VonDolteron (f); Kalynne VonDolteron (f); Aubrie Miranda (f); Michael Miranda, Jr. (m); Kaylee Miranda (f); Brionna Strickland (f); and her grandson Jurl Conner, Jr. She had four great grandchildren, Kira Lee (f); Ellie Brisard (f); Emerie Brisard (f); and her great grandson Jameson Lee. She leaves four brothers, Bruce Heikes; Ron [Ronnie] Heikes; Tom Millovich, and Paul Heikes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Families First Funeral Care.
