David Mitchell Chancey, age 83, of Savannah, Georgia passed on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Chancey was the son of the late Paul David Chancey and Cora Chancey.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Jackie Gail Chancey, and his son, John David Chancey.
Mr. Chancey was retired from Union Camp. He was a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church.
His memory will be forever treasured by his loving family. Daughter, Treena (Aaron) Hardeman of Guyton, GA; granddaughter, Megan Proctor of Savannah, GA, Mary Hardeman of Savannah, GA; great grandson, Hans Weinert of Savannah, GA; several nieces and nephews; and many more family members.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Silk Hope Baptist Church, 4929 Pineland Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jonathan Phillips officiating the service.
Interment will be held immediately after at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery, 1336 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
