David Rightmire, age 67, of Rincon, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at his residence.

Scott was born on August 11, 1952, in Ohio. He lived most of his life in Melbourne, Florida where he met and married Laurie McReynolds. Together they raised three children.

He was preceded in death by, his father, David Rightmire, his mother, Betty Rightmire and his wife, Laurie Rightmire.

He is survived by his three children: Jennifer Williams (Jeremy), Jason Rightmire and Jillian Rightmire. Three grandchildren Tyler Williams, Alexander Williams, Meghan Williams, and one great-grandchild Thea Williams. He also leaves to cherish his memory two siblings, Bill Rightmire and Pam Martini.

A small private ceremony for close family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, January 11th at 1:00 p.m.

The Family will receive visitors after during a Celebration of Life from 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the family home in Rincon GA. Please contact a family member for a direct address.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Scott Rightmire’s name to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org.

Jennifer,Jillian,Jason,Pam,Bill, my heart goes out to you and all of your families. I was fortunate enough to maintain communication with Scott as we both felt the importance of family was the priority of our lives. I will miss talking with him. He talked about all of you often and I know he loved you all very much.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear this. My prayer is that the God and father of the Lord Jesus Christ will comfort you in this time of sadness and pair, I also pray for those left behind who were closest to Scott that they would find comfort in this time of grief.
