Condolence from Scott Muse on June 14th, 2016 2:48 pm

David was a wonderful man who loved his family and loved teaching. I am saddened to hear of his death at such a young age. He was a good friend and I will miss his wit and humor.

Condolence from Dave Corvino on June 15th, 2016 2:51 pm

I am sorry to say goodbye to my Friend David Eggleston. I only knew him for a short time but he was a faithful member of our scale modeling club and it was always great to see him at our club meetings, events and contests. David and Marcia were instrumental in making our last model contest a success. David always had funny stories to tell us and I enjoyed his visits. He will be missed. Thank you Marcia for letting us steal David away each month. He was a great guy and a great club member.

I am so sad for your loss; he is our loss also as a member of our club, the Coastal Carolina Modelers Association. We pray that you remember David with fond memories, as we shall.

Condolence from Anita Thompson on June 19th, 2016 10:03 pm

Dear Marcia and Family,
I am so sorry that I was not able to attend David’s services. He was such a special, loving, caring man. I always enjoyed talking to him when he would come by our job. David truly loved his family, especially those grands! Marcia, you were the most caring, patient, and attentive nurse he could have ever asked for. You really showed the rest of us what the words in our marriage vows “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health” really mean through your loving care of him. Even when he was hard-headed and wouldn’t follow the rules you refrained from hitting him on the head and allowed him to cheat on that special diet “just a little”! Both of you have been blessings in my life, along with your children and grandchildren. I feel as though Max, Noah, and Sean partially belong to me since we have talked about them and prayed for them together at work for the majority of their lives. I am praying for you all that your tears of sadness will soon be turned to tears of joy and laughter when you recall the precious memories you have made together. David would not want you to be sad, but to be happy that he is in heaven with his Lord and Savior, no longer sick, and he can eat all the salt he wants!

My name is Tammy Morris. I remember when they lived in my grandmothers garage apartment on Smith street in Dublin. They were very special to me as a child. I’m sorry for your loss.
