It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra “Debbie” Mueller, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Debra passed away peacefully in her home located in Guyton, Georgia surrounded by her husband Gary, son Christopher, and daughter-in-law Susan, on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born July 24, 1959, Debra was a strong, loving, and unforgettable woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She had a warm heart, a strong spirit, and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Gary Mueller, and their children Christopher Mueller (Susan) of Guyton, Georgia, and Tyler Mueller (Pep) of Chicago, Illinois. She was also eagerly awaiting the joy of becoming a grandmother this fall. Gary remained by Debra’s side throughout their journey together, offering unwavering love and support. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
In a loving farewell, Gary says, “Save me a seat next to you in front of the Cobra Heart in the big casino in the sky.” It is a fitting farewell to a woman who brought her own kind of luck, love, and unforgettable personality into the lives of those around her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Debra’s life at Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. It will be a time to honor her life, share stories, and support one another in love and remembrance.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center, who are offering their compassionate services to ensure Debra’s final farewell is conducted with dignity and respect.
Debra will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
