I just learned this afternoon that Dennis had passed away and am so sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure having him, his Mom and Dad and Phyllis as neighbors for many years. The family was musically gifted and I enjoyed listening to them sing hymns.

Condolence from Carol A Moore on September 14th, 2020 8:32 am

Dennis tried to reach me a few months ago as he did periodically through the years I have known him. He was a welcoming presence at Effingham County High School where I met him, when I came to Georgia to teach. He was gracious enough to share his wonderful musical talents by singing at the wedding of my husband, Peter t Moore, and myself. He had such a fabulous voice. It was always pleasure to see him and hear him sing. Pete, unfortunately, predecessed him January 3rd. Rest in peace, friend. I’m sad you’ve had your last cruise in this world. Smooth sailing in the next! I am certain there is a special place for you! – Carol Gasser Moore, Lakeland, Georgia
