Dollie Grace Oglesby Overstreet, 88, of Ellabell died Monday, September 7th, 2015 at her residence under the care of Island Hospice.
Born in Sylvania, Georgia, she was the daughter of Thomas Oglesby and Ada Andrews Oglesby. She was a long time resident of Rincon and a member of Rincon Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Brantley Overstreet, Jr.; her sisters, Alma Chance, Dennie Arrington, Lucille Long; her brothers, Thomas Oglesby, Eugene Oglesby and Ivy Oglesby.
Survivors include her son, James Michael Overstreet, of Rincon, her daughter, Deborah Hoskins, of Ellabell, her grandchildren, Cynthia Tupper, Ricky Hoskins II, Jamie Metz, Kimberly Middleton, Kelly Overstreet, Danielle Wells, Justin Overstreet, 10 Great-Grandchildren, her sister, Estelle Havis, Midland, Texas, and a number of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, from 12pm to 1 pm at the Rincon Church of God. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm at the Rincon Church of God, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – East.
