
Dorothy Jane Romine Crawford, age 72, of Tybee Island, Georgia, died peacefully on February 14, 2025. She was born October 28, 1952 in Augusta, Georgia to the late J. L. Romine and the late Louise Blankenship Romine, She grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and Port Wentworth and Savannah, Georgia. Although named Dorothy upon birth she was always called Mickey.
Mickey grew up near a swimming pool and learned to swim at age two. She grew to love horses and she loved to draw them. She also loved dogs. Her family worshiped at Bull Street Church of Christ
in Savannah where Dorothy was baptized. In 1969 Dorothy married Wayne Crawford and they had two children.
She was preceded death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Kay Romine.
Dorothy, “Mickey” is survived by her two children Christopher Wayne Crawford (Pam) of Pembroke, Georgia and Elizabeth Crawford Tacy (Jack) of Sylvania, Georgia; her sister Patricia Romine Leong of Tyrone, Georgia; grandchildren, Colby Crawford of Pembroke, Georgia; Timothy Tacy and Laura Tacy of Sylvania, Georgia; and great grandson, Waylon Crawford of Pembroke, Georgia. Also nephews James Romine, Jesse Romine and David Romine all of Athens, Georgia and Jason Leong of Tyrone, Georgia.
Also in her family are Ricky Boyd (Carolyn, deceased) and their children, Joshua, Michael, Melissa and their families and Beverly Harding (Gil) of Deville, Louisanna.
She is also survived by her dear friend, Joseph Mock of Savannah, Georgia.
A private burial service will be held February 24, 2025 at Hillcrest Abby West Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.

I do not know your family personally but I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. God promises in his Word the Bible that soon, things will get better. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that soon death and sorrow will be done away with.
