Douglas Paul Klopp was born in Savannah, GA on September 16, 1967 and passed away unexpectedly at Memorial Hospital on February 4, 2026.
Doug was employed in construction most of his life. He enjoyed watching the Braves, Bulldogs, Falcons, going fishing and had a heart of gold.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents Moose and Louise Klopp, sister, Dianne Phillips, and brother, David Klopp.
He is survived by his sister Donna Klopp Kirksey.
A private service will be held by the immediate family at a later date.

Normal for my Nephew Doug was fun or funny. I would not think of Him any other way. I still remember Him as a cute little kid that I Truly enjoyed when l first came to stay with the Family. His Mom, my Oldest Sister was a Gift from God, when, at 20 years old, l need a starting point in life away from family and home in Texas. Thank You, Doug, for the memories. And the Days You would see me, and shout out in proud recognition, “Hey Unck”! I Loved You for that. We Will Miss You Many Days To Come. And “Hey back, Nephew.”
