Dwayne A. Franklin was born on November 7, 1961 to his parents Rosetta and Carlton Franklin. He was the third child born to this union.

Dwayne attended Alfred E. Beach High School and graduated with the class of 1981. He also attended Savannah Vocational Technical College and earned two Associate’s Degrees, in Large Engine Repair and Aviation Maintenance.

Dwayne was baptized at an early age, and his hands were extremely talented. He has held numerous positions in life, but what was the closet to his heart, was mentoring and coaching the youth. He played a special role in all of the lives that he touched. To know Him, was to LOVE HIM. Dwayne was preceded in death by his Father, Carlton R. Franklin; Brother, Tyrone A. Franklin; Grandparents, Lawrence and Alice Feelings. Dwayne departed October 30, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His Loving Mother, Rosetta Franklin; Sister, Venetia A. Franklin; Two Brothers, Carlton R. Franklin, Jr (Newark, NJ) and Osiris Baldwin-Franklin. Four Nieces: Tyeeshia and Tia Johnson; Isis and Isabella Franklin. Two Nephews: Cedric and Terrence Franklin. A host of Grand Nieces & Nephews; Great Grand Nephew; Cousins and Friends.
