Elizabeth Lael Handy, age 85, of Midway, passed away Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at her daughter’s home.
A native of Hiddenite, North Carolina she was the daughter of George Glover Lael and Leola Stevenson Lael.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Sandra Sue Giles (Harold) of Midway, Georgia, Pollyanne Morris (Lew) of Estill, South Carolina, and Delores Floyd, of Midway, Georgia; three sons, Michael Handy (Sue) of Eden, Georgia, Danny Handy (Viktoriya) of Cochran, Georgia, and Bobby Handy of Midway, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Rogers Lael of Chester, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 20th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM from Families First Funeral Care, Reverend Kenny Harrelson officiating. Interment – Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, West.
