Emma Mae Miller

Emma Mae Miller was born to the late Charlie and Alice Seabrain on November 29, 1942 in Bellinger Hill, South Carolina. Emma grew up, got her education and reared her family in Savannah, Georgia.

Emma worked as a Domestic Worker to Tommy & Sherry McMillan, Steven & Paula Tootle, Mr. & Mrs. Gilmore, Leigh Krebs, Ike & Beth Neu, and the late Jim Grant. Due to Emma’s failing health in July 2010 Emma decided it was time for her to retire after many years of service to many families.

Emma married the love of her life, Clifford Miller, Jr. on May 23rd, 1990.

Emma and Clifford had four wonderful daughters & one son together. Charlesetta Seabrain, Rena Adside (daddy, Wilson Adside), Diane Miller and Shannon Miller, Demetrius Antonio and Miriam Janee Seabrain.

Besides both her parents, Emma was predeceased by her first husband Wilson Adside and her last husband Clifford Miller, Jr.; her mother-in-law Lurina Miller, her older brother Thomas Tyson, Jr., her baby sister Linda Gail Seabrain, her daughter Diane M. Doyle, her son-in-love Christopher A. Johnson, Sr., and her great-granddaughter Trinity Adside.

Emma leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, son, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law; Charlesetta Seabrain, Rena Adside & Lucious Stephens, Jr., Miriam Janee Johnson & Eric Herrington, Sr., Shannon Miller, Stephen Doyle, Sr., and Demetrius & Summer Seabrain. Emma also leaves her loving memories and friendship to her favorite cousin Carrie Morrell. Emma also leaves her two sisters Mary Ann Williams and Mary Lou (Josh) Anderson and one brother Alphonso Tyson, Sr.. Emma also leaves her grandchildren Keisha Seabrain, Shequita Adside, Bernikia Adside, Ramon Gibson, Ramar Gibson, Justin Gibson, Dominique Miller, Danielle Miller, Stephen A. Doyle, Jr., Omar Taylor, Tanisha Miller, Shamika Miller, Gabriel Johnson, Miracle Johnson, Alexander (Nana Boy) Johnson, and Dermia Seabrain; fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation: Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12 to 1 PM at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral Services to follow at 1 PM.

Emma was a part of our family for many years, she came to visit me last summer and met the grandchildren it was a wonderful surprise. You will be missed rest in peace Emma.
