Ms. Evelyn Sanders Scott, 62, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away at her residence on March 6, 2025.
Ms. Evelyn Sanders Scott was born in Savannah, GA, on August 25, 1962. She was the precious daughter of the late Annie Mae Sanders and Leroy Wright.
Evelyn graduated from Alfred E. Beach High School in 1981. She earned an associate’s degree in Accounting from Savannah Technical College (Vocational Tech) and later became a dedicated CNA.
Evelyn began studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1986 and was baptized in 1989. She was a committed member for over 30 years.
Professionally, Evelyn committed 18 years to Friedman’s Jewelers and continued her accounting career as a seasonal tax preparer. Evelyn was dedicated to serving the community through her work as a notary, school teacher, child advocate, and CNA. Her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence were as evident as all the hearts she touched.

I am so sorry to hear about Evelyn’s passing. We were coworkers years ago at Friedman’s and kept in touch somewhat through the years. Sometimes in passing on my way home I would see her and stop and laugh and talk, get tax advice, something notarized etc. Rhe last time she graciously helped me out was 2 years ago when my AC was broken. The same day she brought over a window unit she had and let me finish the season with some cool air. I’m gonna miss seeing my friend.
