Evelyn Sherrill Lloyd (73) passed, peacefully, at her daughter’s home on September 14, 2025.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was very strong in her faith. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone in her life. She impacted every life that she touched and will be greatly missed.
She will be joining her husband, Donald Lloyd, Sr., along with her parents, brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind her son, Donald Lloyd, Jr. (Lora), and her daughter, Sherrill Anderson. Her grandchildren, Jessica Brewer, Coty Wilkerson, Donald Lloyd III and Jossey Lloyd. Great grandchildren, Yvonne, Blake, Liam and Bella. Her siblings, Debbie Rom Ryan, Lorrie Shearouse Crosby (Leonard), Connie Rom, Rocky Rom (Keri), Jim Banks (Laura) and Angel Curry (James; recently deceased). Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Per her request, her children will hold a gathering at her house, as she said “For everyone to be in her home one last time together.” Her children will announce this at a later date.
