Fred was born in Savannah GA on April 29th, 1958 but lived in Hilton Head Island and Hardeeville areas all his life. He started working for Cablevision in 1979 and continued to work with through the various changes in entities (Adelphia, Time Warner, and Charter) up until May of 2021 when he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Through his years of employment he formed close friendships with a number of his coworkers and kept in touch with them as some of them (and he) left the company. Fred loved books, comics (was a huge Marvel and DC fanatic), anything sci-fi,
animals, travel, and above all else, his family. One of his favorite things was attending sci-fi conventions with his family and/or his best friend, Ted. He was fearless and loved things like zip lines and always wanted to sky dive. Freddie had a huge heart and was one of the most loving and kind people you could hope to meet.
He will be forever loved and missed.

Star and Sabrina: I know what this sad occasion has done to you both. Freddie was a sweetheart. He was so willing to help others as well as the fur babies. He was the dog whisperer. Star, we will miss calm, cool and collected, Freddie. My heart goes out to you. I prayed he would win the race that life gave him, but God has a reason for everything and we don’t always know why. I right here for you. ❣️
