Gregory “Cookie” Quackenbush passed away peacefully at his residence in Jesup, Ga. He was preceded by his father Carl Quackenbush, mother, Bonneida Neville, his brothers Carl and Robert Quackenbush. He is survived by his kids Greg Moore, Bonnie Wilcox, Carl Tessanne, and Jacob Quackenbush; as well as his several grandchildren, and his nieces. He was a firefighter, EMT for Chatham County and surrounding areas until he was disabled. He was a simple man who loved to fish and would help out whenever he could.
His family will be holding a memorial service on the 22nd of August. Contact family for more information.

So sorry for the loss of Greg, but he is finally at peace, and reunited with his parents & brothers. Greg & I are first cousins as his Mother & mine (Reita Floyd), were Sisters.
