
Greg Saxon passed away April 12, 2026 at the age o f 58 at St. Joseph Hospital. A Savannah native he was employed by Dan Vaden Chevrolet for 2 0 years and Meineke for 10 years and many years at John Blitch Plumbing. He was always revered by his coworkers and customers as an honest and knowledgeable. Beyond his professionalism family and friends knew
him as a kind and generous soul who loved nothing more than to see a smile on your face he will be forever missed.
He is survived by his two sons: Gregory Nicholas Saxon (wife April) and Gregory Alton Saxon (wife Missy) and his five grandchildren Gregory Nicholas Saxon Jr., Clara Ann, Bella, Lily-Ann and River. He also leaves behind sister Evelyn (Missy) Wilfur ( Saxon) and her children Caitlin and Brett, as well as brother Cardell Saxon and his son Dalton.
He also leaves behind the love of his life Marilyn Watford. Greg will also be missed by nieces Beverly and Rachel (Ray, D). Greg is welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven by his loving mother Beverly Francis Sellers-Saxon and father Ray Jay Saxon, brothers Ray and Michael, and nephews Little Michael (Michael) and Phillip (Cardell).
There will be no grave side service but there will be a celebration of life will be held for Greg at the Candlelight Lounge (8606 White Bluff Rd. Savannah, GA) on Thursday April 30th, 2026 from 4-8pm with a chocolate milk toast at 6pm. Food provided, cash bar. Flowers and other memorials can be sent to Natures Pharma c/o Karma McDowell (8602 White Bluff Rd. Savannah, GA) for display at the celebration.
