Through the eleven years I’ve known Harry was always someone I could rely on when navigating unique problems we would come across working with the City of Savannah. Nothing anyone can say can fill the void left\ and he had an impact on many people.

I was saddened to come across this obituary recently. I met Harry as a fellow student at Benedictine High School in 1983, after moving to Savannah that same year when my parents retired to The Landings. Harry took pity I think on the new kid at school, a northerner no less, and befriended me that year, had a lot of good times over the next several years before I left Savannah for grad school and eventually returned to Maryland as i began my career and my family. We regretably fell out of touch then, but I will always remember his friendship and the good times we had, and his consistent positive outlook on life. My belated condolences to Jim, Rita, and Byron, and his entire family. Harry was a good guy. God bless and rest in peace.
Deepest Sympathies,
Greg
