Hazel Lee Hendrix Donahue, 93, of Bloomingdale died Monday, July 18th, 2016 at Habersham House under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Claxton, the daughter of Harley Hendrix and Fairlener Rowe Hendrix. Mrs. Donahue was a homemaker and a member of Bloomingdale First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Edward Donahue, her son Edward “Eddie” Harley Donahue, her great granddaugther Maigan Gibson, her great great granddaughter Adalynn Davis and several sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Nola Hickey of Augusta, Myra Crosby (Jerry) of Bloomingdale, Doris Gibson (Barry) of Savannah, Hilda Roberts (Jim) of Midway, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a sister, Betty Ann Anderson, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 21st, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am at Bloomingdale First Baptist Church, Funeral Services immediately following. Burial at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West.
