Mr. Howard E. Parrish, age 67, transitioned peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, with his loving family by his side after battling health challenges.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Parrish was known for his warm spirit and dedication to those he served. He retired from Aramark at Savannah State University and also spent many years as a valued team member at the Crystal Beer Parlor, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of coworkers and patrons alike.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mamie R. Parrish Dixon and Leo Parrish.
Howard leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers, Leo Rhodan Sr. and Charles K. Parrish; one sister, Anita Parrish Thomas (John); eight devoted nieces and nephews; a host of great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. He will also be fondly remembered by Employer Mr. John Nichols and the staff of the Crystal Beer Parlor for his many years of friendship, loyalty, and service.
Howard’s unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A Graveside Service will be held at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Friday August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

My family and I met Howard when we moved in right across from him..he was the first and only to speak to us when first moving in..he was and will always be remembered as someone who loved more than he could ever and gave more than he had . Such a kind sweet loving caring soul. Never a dull moment with him at all. We would always get together on weekends and do cookouts and him and my husband would have a few drinks and we would play uno until we were all wore out. Never did we ever forget about him and always always always made sure he was taken care of. It breaks our hearts that he has passed. We’re happy to have had been able to call him not only a neighbor but also a friend; a great friend. Rest in peace good friend. Love your Morales family <3
