Mrs. Inolia Notice went home to her Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 4, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Les Cayes (Ducis), Haiti, Inolia was known throughout her community for her unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and dedication to serving others.
In the mid-70s to early 80s, she selflessly served children at the local public school by cooking meals, often helping those who could not afford lunch. The children affectionately called her “Soeur Roya,” meaning “Sister Roya,” a name spoken with love and gratitude by many.
A devoted and hardworking mother, Inolia was blessed with three children: her beloved daughter, Odyne Lacossiere-Dorvilus, and her two late children, Adele Notice and Ludjert Notice. She was a cherished grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren: Odelson Lacossiere, Jayden Lacossiere, Patrick Dorvilus, and Gabryelle Dorvilus. Her home was always open, her meals lovingly prepared, and her prayers a source of comfort and strength.
Inolia leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and service, carried on by her loving daughter and grandchildren. Her passion for prayer and her generous spirit touched countless lives, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
