James Allan Mossholder, age 61, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020, at his home.
Born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, he was the son of Harlan Junior Mossholder and Rosalie Marie Mossholder. James was a machine fabricator for many years. He served 2 terms in the US Army.
He loved this country and lived the life of an honorable man.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Mossholder, his two sons, Joshua James Mossholder, John Thomas Mossholder, his two daughters, Rosalie Anne Mossholder, Jami Lynn Mossholder, his grandchildren, Raquel, Logan, Anthony, and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Families First Funeral Care Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 5 pm.
The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering in Bloomingdale, Wisconsin in the spring.

Dear Peggy and family, so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I’m his cousin Peggy Lee. I grew up in Bloomingdale with Jimmy. I have many,many,many good memories with him. Someday I hope to share some of them with you.
I just saw the video. Jamie did a great job gathering all the photos and the music that Peggy selected is perfect. I’m honored that I was with y’all when you were putting it all together. The video shows a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. It will be a cherished memory to all that knew and loved Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I love y’all!

Sorry to hear about James passing. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dad. I’m thinking of you and your family and hope you find comfort in the days ahead.
Prayers and condolences to the Mossholder Family. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim years ago at a Mossholder reunion in Bloomingdale. Jim was a patriotic family oriented man who led by example in life. May he rest in peace.
I was so sorry to hear about Jim..He was way to young….my deepest sympathy to Peggy and the family…and hoping I can make it down for his celebration of life in the spring to Bloomingdale..
