James E. Johnson (Jim), 82, of Richmond Hill, died January 29, 2022 at Hospice Savannah, Georgia of the last stages of Dementia.
The native of Kannapolis, North Carolina was a salesman for Underground Utilities. He was a member of New Beginnings Church of Richmond Hill, Georgia. He was a member of G.O.B.&A, serving 2 terms as President.
Survivors: his wife Irene (Cookie) of 42 years; daughter, Beth Maurer of Jacksonville, Florida; granddaughter, Maria Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; granddaughter, Melody Litwin of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Jennifer Kook of Savannah, Georgia; stepdaughter, Kimberly Drake of Asheboro, North Carolina; great grandsons, Powell and Mathew of Jacksonville, Florida.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 pm, Saturday February 12, 2022 at New Beginnings Church, Hwy 144 in Richmond Hill. Service to follow.
