James Lee Jackson, Jr. “Jimmy”, age 78, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah.
Born in Mississippi, he was the son of James Lee Jackson Sr. and Helen Johnson Jackson. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked for many years as a Virginia State Trooper and as a Commercial Loan Officer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Heath Lee Jackson
Surviving are his wife, Carol Morris Jackson, his daughters, Tracey Jackson Ancona (Mike), Laura Jackson Templeton (James), Kristi Jackson Cochran(Brian), Stephanie Roy (Charles), his son, Todd E. Jackson (Jennifer), eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at a later date.
