Dear Friends and Family,
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of James Nisbet, 62, who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Originally from Glenrothes, Scotland, James was the son of Andrew Nisbet and the late Alexena Nisbet. After graduating from Howell Cheney Technical School in 1982, he enjoyed a dedicated 43-year career as a machinist. James was a man who deeply loved his family and his animals and enjoyed spending as much time as possible in nature.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alexena Nisbet. He is survived by his wife, Lori Nisbet; his children, Adam Nisbet and Samantha Martin; his father, Andrew Nisbet; and his brother, John Nisbet. He also leaves behind his nephews, Andrew and Alec Nisbet; his granddaughters, Aurora Mefleh and Anniston Nisbet; and his grandson, Aiden Mefleh.
The immediate family held an intimate private viewing. In accordance with his wishes, the family will not be receiving friends or holding a formal service.
