James Randall Myers

With heavy hearts, we share the loss of James “JJ” Randall Myers, who passed away on August 16, 2026.

JJ was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved his family deeply and brought warmth and laughter to those around him. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of JJ’s life will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Garden City United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia.

Survivors include: his wife Lyndsey Alford Myers, and his sons Jace Cauley and Davin Alford of Seymour, TN. He leaves his mother Robin Tyson Myers of Richmond Hill, Ga., who loved him dearly. Sister Casie Charmatz (David) nieces Ellie and Chloe of Richmond Hill, Ga. Mother-in-law, Lorelie Bunch of Seymour, TN. His father-in-law is James L. Alford (Mary) and brothers-in-law, Jacob Alford and Jonathan Alford of Woodstock, Ga. And many aunts, uncles and cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry (Randy) Randall Myers, grandparents Ernest A. Tyson and Herbert Fortner (Lois), Romie Myers (Lucy).
