I will miss Randy when we return to classes at the Habersham YMCA. He was a shining ray of light!!!

Randy was a wonderful person. I taught cycle classes at the Habersham YMCA in Savannah, Georgia and he was always so energetic and supportive. He made everyone smile and laugh and just had the best energy. He will be missed so very much. My thoughts to the family during this time.

He was always so kind and offered a smiling, friendly face. He will be very missed at the YMCA!

Randy and his sister, Kathy are our cousins. We grew up together and they both are very special to us. Randy was a sweet guy. We will miss you, Randy, but we will see you again very soon in Heaven.

Randy was just simply an amazing human being. He spoke to everyone at the YMCA when he arrived and when he left. He always told us “thank you” just for being there. He said hello to everyone he passed in the hallways. I’m going to miss him so much!

At the Y we often have deaths of our members and many are impactful. Randy’s death is so sorrowful to me. He was such a kind kind human being. He said hello to everyone when he arrived and thank you to everyone as he left. I often wondered why he said thank you… every day and every time he left. Although I never ask him why he said thank you, I could tell he was just so appreciative of everyone who created this space that made him feel at home. He shared with me when he was diagnosed with cancer that he went to the cancer center for his first appointment. He said there were too many sick people there so he was never going back. He said he was coming to the Y as often as he could and he was living his life until he no longer could. He refused to be sick until he just was. He inspires me so much. I’m sad that I will no longere hear him say thank you as he walked by my office every day. But I’m inspired by his love of others and his desire to enjoy every minute he lived on this earth.

Loved Randy. He was always had a smile and a joyful hello when you saw him. I’m sorry that I didn’t know what he was dealing with. Rest in peace Randy.

Randy will be missed at the Habersham YMCA! We loved having him in my cycle classes. He brought incredible positivity that was infectious to us all. He was one of my buds. My thoughts are with his family.

Randy was a sweet fellow, and a “fixture” at the Y. He seemed to be in every class. Always upbeat and very friendly. He will be missed.

I am at a loss for words to hear of Randy’s passing! He had the brightest personality and a great outlook on life! He came to my early morning spin class and always had the best energy with a smile on his face. May he Rest In Peace, smile on us all from heaven!, and continue to shine bright! Randy was an amazing & beautiful person! I remember his pleasant and friendly attitude every time we took Zumba classes at the Habersham Ymca. He will truly be missed! You have our prayers and condolences during this difficult time. RIP Randy?

My condolences to the family. Although I didn’t know him well I would see him at the Y often and he was always so energetic and friendly. I’ll miss him in my Zumba classes. I had no idea of what he was facing- he never let it show. Just goes to show that you never know what challenges someone has to overcome and just strive to be kind and be a light.

I am shocked. Randy was always a joy to see and we loved dancing with him. His smile was contagious and heartwarming. Now I will never get my hugs and handshakes anymore. Wow! I never knew he was sick. My condolences.

I am so sad to hear of Randy’s passing. I will miss his upbeat energy in my fitness classes and the joy he brought to his classmates by acting like a complete goofball. He was so much fun to have in my Zumba class. He would sing along, occasionally exclaiming “Woo!” or “Oh Yeah!” making people laugh. I ran into Randy by chance at a store, after not having seen him for a while, and he told me about his shocking diagnosis. I am sad to hear that his battle is over, but am relieved that whatever pain he was in is over. His positive energy and friendly energy touched many lives and he is missed.

He was a good friend. He was funny, always smiling and always ready to help others. My last time seeing him was at the Y. This was after going thru therapy. He smiled and said I’m beating it. I told him he looked years younger. A twinkle was in his eyes.

I knew Randy from the Habersham Y and he was always a bright ray of sunshine making all who knew him feel special. I will miss his bright smile, his hugs, and his grunts and laughter as the exercise progressed. I am so thankful that he was a believer in Jesus Christ and can’t wait to see him in heaven one day!
